It's that time of year again when everyone's releasing new books for the holidays. Unfortunately mine won't be ready until January at the earliest, but a lot of other writers have new works out now. ◦°˚\(*❛‿❛)/˚°◦
I'm only listing the Amazon versions since Amazon currently rules the ebook world, but of course most of these books are also available at Kobo, B&N, Smashwords, iBooks and elsewhere. If you don't have an ereader, remember that most of these book dealers offer free apps that let you read ebooks on almost any device, including smartphones and iPads, so don't let the lack of an Amazon or Kobo account discourage you. Most of these books are available in paperback too.
Likewise I'm only listing the Amazon Smiles version, since that's Amazon's charitable side, and every product you purchase there contributes toward a donation from them to the charity of your choice. (っ^▿^)۶ ٩(˘◡˘ )
Even though I don't have any new books out myself, you can take a look at my profile for books I released a while ago. Ebooks make great last minute stocking stuffers! ヽ(^。^)丿
Kate McGinn has just released the latest sequel in her Clare Thibodeaux cozy mystery series, Winter's Icy Caress, a holiday murder mystery!
If you prefer vampires and other immortals, you'll love Sue Baron. Her vampires don't sparkle; she was inspired by Anne Rice's Interview With a Vampire.
Mermaids are the new vampires, and M. N. Arzu writes about merfolk.
For gifts that please both kiddles and adults, Christine Larsen writes children's books and memoirs about her farm life in Australia.
If you want children's books and paranormal/urban fantasy, you need to check out Scott Butcher and Tabitha Scott.
For short stories, try Sebnem Sanders and Paul Westley.
For horror fans on your gift list you don't want to miss Soleil Daniels, and for science fiction with an ecological slant check out the work of Jim Heter.
If fairy tales and fantasy are more your cuppa, we've got you covered. K.V. Wilson, Alicia Britton, Rachel Wollaston, R.C. Fletcher, Xanxa Symanah and Amy Marie are fantasy specialists.
Jason Greenfield writes a little bit of everything, and Susan Saltos writes everything as long as it has romance.
Sheena Macleod writes historical fiction, and so does Michael Walsh, who also writes nonfiction about boating through the canals of Europe and yachting to Cape Horn.
Mark Gardner writes science fiction, and L. Fergus writes sci-fi with a LBGT slant.
For heartfelt poetry, try Sahira Javaid, and for something truly different, Douglas Debelak has written a fictional autobiography of God in the Ghostwriter series.
Last but not least, Raymond St. Elmo writes magic realism, young adult, fantasy and adventure, although he has also taken a dip into paranormal of late too.
I've linked only to the main Amazon site, but these writers can also be found on its global sites with a little effort. Sadly, Amazon hasn't yet figured out how to link a customer to one address that is then redirected to a local version, the way Kobo does. (ノ_<、)ヾ(´▽`)
