Am I the only one who finds it funny that NaNoWriMo is shutting down on April Fool's Day? (>‿◠)✌

I will miss it, though. It used to be awesome way back before they moved to Discourse. I loved being able to sort my buddy list by word count so I'd know who I was ahead of and who I was behind. I donated to them once just to get the halo on my avatar, and bought the books by Chris Baty and Grant Faulkner. Seriously doubt there will ever be an adequate replacement for such a site, or a way to recover the vibes we all had back then. Sigh. (ノ_<、)ヾ(´▽｀)

Yay! NaNo is finally working. I was just too early, evidently. Oops. (♯^.^ღ)

So I was planning to work on my wip for this, but I'm thinking now I might actually start a new project for Nanners. I've been meaning to get to this fictional what-if based on two real life stories. One inspiration is a real life little girl about ten years old who had to cross state lines after getting raped because her home state refused to allow her to get an abortion even though she was assaulted. I honestly can't figure out why legislators want to preserve the genes of criminals; but then, most legislators are likely criminals themselves, and fear their own genes dying out. Bastards. Day 29 of Camp NaNoWriMo, but I suspect I'm not going to win. The whole first part of the book really needs to be redone, since the second part (which I'm on now) doesn't seem to have any connection, relevance or theme. I've totally lost the thread of this whole plot. Argh. Time to start over again with character motivation and all that stuff. (ﾉД`)ヽ (ﾉД｀ﾟ)ﾟ｡
