March 8th, 2026 10:20 pmsunshowerdandelionI did write quite a bit today, and read quite a lot of Dance of the Happy Shades. Alice Munro uses a lot more obviously dark humor in her earlier works, I've noticed. It's really, genuinely funny!

March 6th, 2026 11:45 pmsunshowerdandelionFinished Dune! It ends rather abruptly. I then watched Dune - Part One (2021) which I felt lost some of the gravitas. I then wrote a bit about Reisen being faith-drunk. I was at work since 6 am so I'm a little surprised.
