Currently reading Jennie Nash's Blueprint for a Book to see what I can improve in my writing. She suggests following a 14 step worksheet, downloadable on her site. The first step is to write a page about why you must write this book. As in, why this book and not some other book? I think Abbie Emmons means much the same thing when she asks what's the truth you want to shout from the rooftops.
