So my theory about writer's block...
Whenever I start drawing, it's almost painful at first while I'm waiting for the right side of the brain to kick in and take over. When it finally does, everything becomes easy. I'm suddenly more creative, focused. I lose track of time and it all just flows, and yeah it feels like a muse is doing the work for me. __〆(..)
I suspect that's what writers mean when they say they're in the zone or a flow state. But many mistakenly believe this will just magically happen out of the blue, so they don't bother to sit down and write until they feel the muse upon them.
But that never happens, at least not to me. The only way I know of to spur the right brain to take over is by taxing the left brain with a task too hard for it. Unpleasant though it may be, the only way to end writer's block is to plant one's butt in a chair and start writing. ¯\_(ﭢ)_/¯
