akjeSahira Javaid is a writer and poet in Ontario, Canada, and she's currently working on a YA fantasy. She is a poetess from Ottawa who shares her poems on her Facebook page and her website. Fond of animals, nature and learning, she passes time with reading about the world around her, nature's healing ways, chatting with friends and making others smile and laugh every chance she gets.
In her own words:
I'm a metaphor lover. Imagery is my thing. : P I want to inspire and make others smile. I've written 3 poetry books, hoping they will find people who need them most.
Crowning Soul was inspired by a book I read when I was a child called The Serpent's Egg by J. Fitzgerald McCurdy. Other inspirations were The Final Dance series by Christie Golden and Inu Yasha, a Japanese anime that I love to pieces!
