Sometimes it feels like you're uploading into a void, but be glad of that. It might be the calm before the storm. I know writers who started selling books on Amazon ten years ago. Back then they did nothing but complain about how no one would buy their books, but now they're making six figures even though they're writing the same shlock today that they were back then. Seriously, their books haven't improved an iota, but suddenly it's popular without them really doing any advertising. It only takes one influential fan to start a landslide of purchases, and when that happens you'll want to have a large backlist for them to check out. You don't want to blow your opportunity by having nothing to show them, and then they wander away thinking you're a one hit wonder.
So use this time to build up your backlist. The great thing about no buyers is that you can tweak and improve your published books, and no one notices when you reupload them. By the time you get an audience, your books will be close to perfect and you'll be thought a genius. (੭*ˊᵕˋ)੭‧˚₊*̥✧
