Why is artificial intelligence being used to write books instead of for promoting books?
This is so bizarre to me. True writers love writing, so why would we want to surrender the best part of the process to machines and software?
Meanwhile, the worst part of writing is the marketing and discoverability, so why aren't programmers designing AI specifically and solely for promotion? The software should be making every book go viral, or at least putting every book in front of its intended audience. Instead, it's stealing all the humanity and originality from our work and replacing it with formulaic, plagiarized sameness. ʕʘ_ʘʔ
